Performers:
Marianna Klebanov became Pangs Theater
Ensemble's Executive Director in 2007.  She holds a
Linguistics degree from Berkeley, a law degree from
U.C. Hastings, and has successfully represented
the interests of many entities.  She is excited about
devoting her business and organizational skills and
experience to furthering PTE’s artistic vision.
Wolfgang Thompson, Artistic Director of PTE,
has directed all the Company's productions.  
Mr. Thompson's direction incorporates a
number of original concepts and approaches,
including physical tension, realism, and
“shared line”. His direction and work can be
described as emotional, violent, real, and
physical. Mr. Thompson conducts workshops
teaching his approach to acting and directing.

Pilar Alvarez received her B.F.A. in acting from The College of Santa Fe and
has completed an acting internship with Actor's Express in Atlanta. Pilar has
worked as an educator with California Shakespeare Theatre and The
Southwest Art Center and works as an teacher and performer with the
Theatre of All Possibilities. She has most recently been seen in
Beehive and
The Caucasian Chalk Circle. The most rewarding roles she has portrayed
have been Rachel in
Reckless and Jackie-O in The House of Yes.
Megan Doss is from West Springfield, Massachusetts.
She has worked with Hardcore Thrush and Lila
Theatre as a writer and performer. She graduated
from Oberlin College with a degree in Interdisciplinary
Performance. She has studied at New York City’s La
Mama Experimental Theater training program and at
ACT in San Francisco.
Edisol Dotson has performed the roles of the Professor and the Wizard in The Wizard
of Oz, In Concert
, Rueben and Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat
, and Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap. His other stage credits include
various character roles in
Auntie Mame and chorus roles in Carousel, Little Me, Mack &
Mabel
, and Patience. He has also appeared in print advertisements for Microsoft and
Best Software. He is a published writer of fiction and nonfiction.
Philip Grogg is a former member of Bridge
City Productions in Portland, Oregon. His
credits include Leonard in
Blood Wedding,
Drew in
Eastern Standard, and the Officer in A
Dream Play
.
Hilde Susan Jaegtnes trained as an Actor Musician at Rose Bruford College
in London, England. Her previous roles include Masha in Chekhov’s
Three
Sisters
, Liz in the musical Chicago and co-star/ composer/musical director
in a dramatization of the Norwegian poetic epos
Haugtussa by Arne Garborg.
Hilde has also starred in Morten Magnus’ mocumentary
Out of Tuni (2004)
and lead actress in Brian Perkins’ short film
Sweets for my Sweet (2004)
submitted to the Sundance Film Festival.
Dale Murphy rediscovered theater in Goat Hall’s San Francisco’s Burning, and has
performed in Poulenc’s
Les Mamelles de Tiresias, Sondheim’s A Little Night Music,
an operatic treatment of Tennessee William’s
Camino Real for Goat Hall, and as the
Barber in
Man of La Mancha with Alameda Civic Light Opera. He has appeared in
Sondheim’s
Into the Woods and The Broadway Gala for 2004.
Emily Rued holds a BFA in Theater from San
Francisco State University and has also trained with
ACT and Berkeley Repertory Theatre.  Some of her
favorite roles as a performer have been Viola in
Twelve Night, Cecily in The Importance of Being
Earnest
and Oolong in Sherlock Holmes and the
Giant Rat of Sumatra
.
 
After having earned a BFA in Theater from Tisch School of the Arts at
NYU, Megan Lane worked as a professional actress in Los Angeles for
5 years.  She is the spokesperson for the Disneyland Resort's Top 7
Must See Attractions film and has worked on The Young and the
Restless, various TV shows, independent films, JB Films' National
Treasure, Los Angeles theater productions, stand up shows, off
Broadway productions and is currently working on several screenplays.

Tiffany Chamberlin is from the Washington DC area.  She
has appeared as Thelma in
Pack of Lies and Ginger in
Book of Days. Some of her favorite roles have included Beth
in
A Lie of the Mind, Melibea/Isabelle/Hippolyta in Kushner’s
adaptation of
The Illusion and Dolly in Ravenscroft, for
which she was nominated by the Washington Area Theatre
Community Honors (WATCH) for Best Featured Actress in a
Play.
Christine Gwillim was born and raised in Michigan, where she began her
theatrical endeavors as Lady Capulet in
Romeo and Juliet and performed
with a comedy improv group at a local nightclub. Since 2003, she has lived
in California, studying theatre and film in Los Angeles and later receiving a
BA from UC Berkeley in Theater and Performance Studies.  She has done
film work with Pyrotecnia Productions and appeared in the  
Mulligan/Klopatowski theater production

Carla Pauli has appeared in a number of stage productions
including
Soldadera at The Next Stage Theater, Vice Versa, Carol
Churchill's
Far Away and Norman Corwin's Mary and the Fairy.
Carla’s film credits include
Wondrous Woman (2007 Best Short
Film at the Garden State Film Festival),
Jim Thorpe's Life (PBS),
and
Vic and the Tic.  Carla has trained at ACT and San Francisco
State University.
Matt Monaco has performed in California all his life and has
appeared in many theater and film productions, including as
Sancho and Jake in
Man of La Mancha, as Edmond Tyrone in
Long Day's Journey Into the Night, Lucky in Waiting for Godot,
Uncle Vanya and Danny Zucko in
Uncle Vanya, and Bassanio in
the
Merchant of Venice.
